Frustrations with Paying AT&T Bills: A Customer's Disappointment

As a loyal customer of AT&T for over 20 years, it's disheartening to experience the kind of service that makes me want to take my business elsewhere. The latest issue I've faced has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. My AT&T bill is exorbitant, making it difficult for me to make ends meet. In fact, if I were to compare it to a car payment, I'd be paying more for my phone service than for my vehicle.

The problem began when I was lied to by an employee about the reason behind a technical issue with my account. Each person I spoke to provided a different explanation, leaving me feeling confused and upset. It's unacceptable that employees prioritize their commission over treating customers fairly and honestly.

To make matters worse, I've been dealing with issues related to my AT&T app since August 5th. The lack of text log functionality has made it difficult for me to keep track of my conversations with the company. Today, I was unable to open the app at all. This kind of technical incompetence is unacceptable from a major telecommunications provider like AT&T.

Furthermore, I've been on the phone with AT&T since Thursday, trying to resolve these issues. The constant transfer between representatives and the requirement to create a case number only add to my frustration. It's as if no one knows how to address these problems or provide a simple solution.

The Bogo phones offer was another example of poor communication. Although I appreciated the idea, the implementation was flawed, leaving me feeling unsatisfied with the experience. These kinds of issues have left me questioning AT&T's ability to deliver quality service and products.

As a long-time customer, it's disheartening to see such a decline in the level of service provided by AT&T. It's time for the company to take a closer look at its customer-facing employees and technical infrastructure. Until then, I'll be exploring alternative options that prioritize transparency, honesty, and effective communication.
